World Twenty20 2012 live: Super 8 stage still wide open to decide semi-final entries
T20 World Cup super 8 stage reached its maximum entertainment when India surgically defeated Pakistan to keep Group 2 open for the semi-finals of World Twenty20. Australia has placed its claim on World T20 2012 by winning both its super 8 matches till now and is close to booking a semi-final berth from Group 2.
In Group 2, India plays South Africa in their next super 8 encounter of the World T20, the Proteas have lost both their super 8 matches and their chances of going through to the semi-finals look slim; the ‘choker’ tag still seems to be haunting the Proteas. Pakistan would be hoping to win against the Kangaroos with a better run-rate to qualify for the semi finals of T20 World Cup 2012.
