T20 World Cup super 8 schedule displays the top 8 teams in the World T20 ranking table pitted against each other in two groups, Group 1 and Group 2. Group 1 of the super 8 stage comprises of defending champions England, hosts Sri Lanka, calypso strength West Indies and the Black Caps of New Zealand. Group 2 of the super 8 stage consists of the wounded pride of Kangaroos, the second placed South Africans on the T20 ranking table, and the Asian rivals India and Pakistan. The World Twenty20 seems to be ready for driving the adrenaline rush to the maximum.

Focusing on the Group 1 of the super 8 stage of the World T20, England seem to be struggling with its batting problems against spin after being bundled at 80 against India in their group match. England may have won the previous edition of the World Twenty20, but this time their winning chances seem slim. Sri Lanka seem to have been in their elements prior to the super 8 schedule start, but their defeat against South Africa in a 14-match affair might have affected their morale. The hosts still have an advantage due to their knowledge of the playing conditions.

New Zealand have been slow-starters, though Brendon McCullum destroyed the Bangladesh attack with his blitzkrieg. The Black Caps might spring a surprise in the super 8 stage of the World Twenty20.

Group 2 presents an epic encounter in the super 8 schedule of the World Twenty20 in the form of India VS Pakistan. The two teams have been performing to their strength, but have had their own problems. India, Pakistan still emerge as favourites to go through the super 8 stage of the T20 World Cup.

Australia seem to be on a mission of proving their international T20 ranking to be a fallacy, while the Proteas have won both their group matches of the T20 World Cup.
