All hail Carl Jenkisnon, the latest youngster to cut his teeth in the first team Arsenal side, deputising for the injuried Bacary Sagna, but now he’s back and he wants his spot, so something’s got to give… cue transfer rumours all the way from Inter Milan.

According to Daily Mirror, which has playful entitled the story ‘Bacary Lasagna?’ indicates that the France international may be heading for Italian football in a matter of months as the Milan outfit are aware that his starting position may now be under threat.

Sagna, 29, has been out since last year with a broken leg, although ex-Charlton defender Jenkinson has covered with aplomb, distancing himself from the player who let Manchester United score eight goals in one game, this time last season.

Sagna voiced his frustration at Arsenal for selling top players, not winning trophies and such outbursts have seen him receive an ear bashing from boos Wenger, but despite the internal criticism the Arsenal boos is confident that Sagna’s head will not be turn by offers abroad.

Yesterday we covered the tedious Theo Walcott transfer story, revealing that the young attacking midfielder is not content with his current deal, well guess what, Arsene Wenger, stubborn as a mule, is sticking with his decision.

The Arsenal v Walcott transfer scenario is still at square one, the club do not want to increase wages beyond unreasonable demand, whereas the England star is still holding out for £75,000-a-week and then some.
