Arsenal transfer news: Sanchez, Montoya, Song, Peter Cech, Jovetic
Arsenal FC transfer news suggest the Gunners are looking at audacity through the summer transfer window as they target Barcelona trio of attacker Alexis Sanchez, defender Martin Montoya and former Arsenal midfielder Alex Song. Sanchez has not been a great success since his arrival at Camp Nou and might be on his way out this summer and with David Villa being offered a new contract, Sanchez’s chances remain slim.
Montoya is also in the same state as Sanchez as he has received 9 La Liga starts in the last three seasons and with Arsenal FC looking at the uncertainty of the future of Bacary Sagna, Montoya could fit right in. Alex Song could make a return to the Emirates side as he has struggled to find a regular place in the Spanish side, but there have been doubts about his exit.
Real Sociedad Winger, Antoine Griezmann, has surfaced on the radar of Arsenal FC as the Gunners are looking to make a move for the French international, who has been one of the players responsible for the success of Sociedad during this season. Griezman has been in prime form off-late as he has scored four goals in his last six matches.
The Emirates side has been looking at stopping supplies for the summer transfer window and the recent addition to the list of prospects is Chelsea FC goalkeeper, Peter Cech. The Gunners will reportedly bid for the Czech international, if he is available during the summer. With the Blues reportedly looking to replace Cech with Thibaut Courtois, his position might be at risk.
Arsene Wenger is looking to sign Fiorentina striker, Stevan Jovetic, to add to the patchy strike force of the Emirates side. Reports state that the Montenegro international could be sold to the English club for upwards of £20 million.
