Arsenal transfer news: Lukas Podolski, Victor Valdes, Gonzalo Higuain
Arsenal FC transfer news suggests that the Gunners would be looking at a fight for holding onto Lukas Podolski during the summer transfer window. Juventus and Atletico Madrid have been looking to acquire the striker with Juve leading the race. Podolski has not even completed one year at the Emirates stadium and Wenger will look to retain the German talent.
Lukas was purchased for £10.9 million by the Gunners and if they decide to sell, the offer would have to be above that price. Juve is looking at £15 million deal for the transfer of Podolski. The German international has been relegated by Wenger to the bench for a recent string of matches stating that Lukas needs to work more hard for his place in the team.
Arsenal FC has been reported to shop for stopping talent and have been linked to Victor Valdes and Pepe Reina. Barcelona FC is reported to be hopeful of a Gunners bid for Valdes, who has stated his intentions of leaving Camp Nou this summer. The 31-year-old stopper is available for £8.5 million, but Wenger seems to be more inclined on the acquisition of Reina.
The Gunners are looking to fulfill Gonzalo Higuain’s desire of moving to the Premier League. The Emirates side is reportedly ready to appease the £22 million price tag of the Real Madrid forward during the summer transfer window. However, Arsenal FC is not the only club looking to sign the Argentine international. Tottenham is also in the hunt for the forward.
Carlos Vela has expressed his intentions of returning to the Emirates side for as little as £4 million. Failing to find a regular place in the playing 11 of Wenger, the Mexican international moved to Real Sociedad, where he has scored 12 goals this season.

Arsenal’s main problems are either the MANAGER HIM SELF or THE BOARD of the club. why in heaven they r not willing to buy a well deserved player who could lead arsenal in to title race where the club deserves. as my conclusion the club must decide whether they like to achieve trophies or just sit and wait for their full briefcase profits.
