Munich recently signed former Barcelona FC manager, Pep Guardiola.

The Emirates side has been reportedly monitoring St. Etienne striker, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, who has been dubbed as the ‘African Neymar’. The Gunners have sent former midfielder Gilles Grimandi to monitor the player’s progress in recent weeks. Aubameyang has scored 16 goals in this season and has gained reputation as the finisher.

St. Etienne are rumoured to want a transfer fee close to £15 million, but Arsenal FC have reportedly valued the player at £10 million and are adamant about their offer. Arsenal FC are in dearth of strikers after being failing to replace Robin Van Persie. Liverpool FC and Newcastle are also reported to be interested in the player named as the ‘African Neymar’.

Arsene Wenger is reportedly looking at snubbing Alex Song’s return in favour of pursuing of Celtic midfielder, Victor Wanyama. Song had been rumoured to return to the Emirates side after failing to make an impression at Camp Nou. Celtic boss, Neil Lennon had earlier stated that many of the club’s best players were set to leave.  Wenger is hoping that a £10 million bid should make the transfer possible.
