Chelsea FC latest transfer rumours: Benitez wants Hulk for Christmas
The golden rule in football is to not make Hulk angry, you won’t like him when he’s angry because the Brazil striker will demand a transfer request with clubs such as Chelsea ready to scoop him away in a private jet, at east that’s how the ending is foreseen.
Sports Bulletin discussed the possibility of the striker leaving for the Premiership during the summer but nothing came of that saga, although after last night’s ‘sulk’ it appears Hulk may be finally ready to seek a move away from his Russian club.
Last night Hulk revealed he’s ready to walk out on the club after a touchline row with coach Luciano Spalletti, directed a ‘finished gesture’ towards the Italian after being substituted in last night’s Champions League 1-0 victory over AC Milan.
Chelsea boss Rafa Benitez, recovering from a double shock – his first win and a brace from Fernando Torres, is said to be keen on bringing Hulk to the Premiership.
‘If the situation with Spalletti is not solved, in January I will leave,’ commented 26-year-old Hulk who signed for Zenit St. Petersburg for £39.5million from Porto in September.
Benitez will be troubled by the possibility of juggling both Torres and Hulk should he be given the green light to sign the Brazil striker, as owner Abramovich has made clear money is no object.
