Chelsea transfer news and rumours: Radamel Falcao, Jurgen Klopp
Chelsea FC transfer news hints at the determination of the Blues for landing Radamel Falcao during the summer transfer window. The Stamford Bridge side is reportedly thinking of offering stopper Thibaut Courtois to ease the transfer of the Atletico Madrid striker, who has been in exceptional form this season.
Radamel Falcao has found the net on 22 times in 21 appearances for the Spanish club in this season. The premier striker of Chelsea FC, Fernando Torres, has scored 15 goals in 41 matches, which has become a major concern for the Blues administration. Torres recently appeared in a cupcake advertisement.
Roman Abramovich’s search for an interim manager suffered a setback as the Blues target, Jurgen Klopp, expressed that he would not leave for Stamford Bridge during summer. Klopp has been a major target of Abramovich after Pep Guardiola was appointed as the manager of Bayern Munich. Clarifying the speculations, Klopp said, “I have a contract until 2016. I have said 20 times I’ll definitely stay until 2016.”
Florent Malouda expressed his unhappiness about training with the junior Blues squad. The midfielder has been completely discarded from the side. Frank Lampard had recently attributed his success to the number of opportunities he has received with Chelsea FC. Malouda has not been able to find a way to move out of the club or make a comeback to the main side.
Voicing his thoughts, Malouda said, “The details I’ll explain when I’m free, but the strategy they use is to make me look like a player seeking substantial compensation. It’s petty but more than anything else it makes me smile because it shows how these people regard me.”
