Chelsea FC Latest Transfer News & Rumours: Avram Grant
A new blow to the ego of Chelsea boss Rafa Benitez ended any uncertainty that things could not get any worse at Stamford Bridge, despite losing at West Ham there is more bad news in the pipeline…
If there were a manual on how not to please football fans Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich would have the foreword nailed, for he is now toying with bringing back public enemy number two Avram Grant to help out public enemy number one Benitez in a coaching role.
The Guardian is today reporting that Avram Grant is the latest public footballing figure to be shepherded in at Stamford Bridge under the new regime in an advisory role to assist the Spaniard.
Chelsea have now gone seven without a win, a dismal record to put it mildly but despite unrest from the fans at Stamford Bridge, Abramovich still believes he can turn things around with his own decision making, the latest being to offer Israeli Grant a second spell at the club.
Since the departure of former manager Roberto Di Matteo, engineer of FA Cup and Champions League glory, Chelsea have dipped in form losing valuable points in the league and along with Arsenal, Newcastle and Sunderland are thought to be closest to breaking point, despite the millions spent on a luxury midfield quartet.
In other news Frank Lampard may be off to Arsenal is a surprise transfer which has been met with mixed emotions.
Lampard has been a talisman for the West London club in his 10-year spell but now entering into the last year of his contract, the midfielder is being handed less match time and could be shipped out as soon as January.
Juan Mata and Eden Hazard will vie for top dog in the new-look attack should Lampard agree to call time on his illustrious career at Stamford Bridge when the transfer window opens.

RDM our legend should be given a 2nd chance in the future, for doing what Jose mourriho, avam grant, the big phil, gius hiddink, carlos ancelloti, AVB couldn't do at stamford bridge irrespective of their well of experience both on and off the field as football is concern.
