Chelsea vs West Bromwich Albion match preview & betting odds/predictions

Chelsea-FC vs West Brom

Do you think Rafa’s rant will have some positive effect?

Chelsea come in to this game as odds on favourites at 4/9. Although it is probable that Chelsea will beat West Brom, this price certainly in under valued based on the fact that West Brom are only three places below the Blues. West Brom had a severe dip in form failing to win in eight league games yet have managed to win their last two and are only nine points behind Chelsea reiterating the point that the odds for a straight Chelsea win are perhaps too short and certainly lack value.

The popular markets you may fancy for this game are: Chelsea -1 on the handicap paying around 10/11 or Chelsea HT/FT paying roughly evens. If you are a fan of the goal scoring markets there are plenty of choice in Chelsea’s respect, but Mata appears good value. He has scored seventeen goals this season and is 5/1 to score first and and 6/4 to score anytime.

For the Baggies, Romelu Lukaku is ineligable to face his parent club whereas Long is serious doubt with an ankle injury he sustained last Saturday against Sunderland. Midfielder, James Morrison is capable of scoring goals and you can get him to score first at 18/1 and anytime at 7/1.

I would personally suggest over 2.5 goals in this game. Chelsea’s recent home games have seen plenty of goals of late; nineteen in the last five games. They have plenty of players capable of scoring goals yet have their defensive vulnerabilites too conceding in four of those five games. West Brom are capable of scoring a goal at Stamford Bridge having scored in their last four league away games including two at Anfield. I expect there should be a few goals in this game.

Recommendation:
Over 2.5 goals. Free £10 no desposit for slots games and a free £25 bet at BetVictor.
