Liverpool transfer news: Luis Suarez interested in Bayern Munich offer
Luis Suarez has set Liverpool transfer news reports flourishing through the back pages of the newspapers as he expressed his intentions of thinking about a move to Bayern Munich. Suarez has been in prime form this season with 26 goals in 38 matches and the exit of the Uruguayan international would be a big loss for the Anfield side.
The Liverpool FC striker has been linked strongly with the German club following the appointment of Pep Guardiola as Munich’s manager. The former Barcelona manager reportedly made Luis Suarez his top pursuit for the summer transfer window. Bayern would not have much to do as the forward is reportedly interested in the club’s offer.
Talking about a possible transfer move from Liverpool FC, Suarez said, “If Bayern Munich makes an offer I would certainly be willing to listen and think about it. It does not mean I will definitely leave, it just means that I will not automatically reject other clubs.” The 26-year-old would likely cost in excess of £40 million, which should not be a problem for the Bundesliga leaders.
Suarez was earlier reported of planning to leave Liverpool FC, if the club did not make it to the top four in the Premier League standings. Many reports suggest that Guardiola could utilise the services of his brother Pere, who is the agent of Luis Suarez to lure him to Bayern. With Liverpool standing at eighth place in Premier League standings, there are less chances of the Reds to make it to the top four.
Liverpool FC signed Daniel Sturridge during the January transfer window, prior to which, Luis Suarez was the lone striker for the Reds. Do you think Luis Suarez should leave Liverpool FC?
