Liverpool transfer news and rumours: Luis Suarez, Victor Valdes, Philippe Coutinho
Liverpool FC transfer news brings forward a major happening as Luis Suarez has emerged as the prime target of Bayern Munich after Pep Guardiola was appointed the manager of the German club. Guardiola has been a long-time admirer of the Liverpool FC forward, who has been the lone ranger for the Reds, and can also be deemed as the reason of their presence in the top-half of the table.
Suarez has managed the strike force of Liverpool FC for most part of the time, but now has Daniel Sturridge to support him. Guardiola is reported to make a £40 million bid for the striker and is confident about landing the player as his brother is Suarez’s agent, though the Reds might not let go of the player without struggle.
The Uruguayan striker has affirmed his support to the cause of Liverpool FC, but if the Anfield side fails to reach the top four, then Suarez might think of making a move to Bayern Munich, which is currently dominating Bundesliga. Wesley Sneijder has ended all the speculations of joining Liverpool FC by signing a new contract with Galatasaray.
Barcelona FC stopper, Victor Valdes might be headed to Anfield, if the transfer news reports are to be believed. The goalkeeper’s agent had earlier stated that the player would not be signing a new contract with Camp Nou. Rumours suggest that the Spanish club is offering the 31-year-old for £16 million.
Liverpool FC’s £8 million bid for Inter Milan midfielder, Philippe Coutinho has been turned down by the Italian club. Brendan Rodgers has been looking to find a replacement for the failed Tom Ince deal. Inter Milan is reported to be looking for a deal close to £10 million.
