Liverpool FC transfer news brings in some good news for the Reds as Chesterfield chief executive, Chris Turner has expressed his willingness to listen to the offer from the Anfield side for a possible transfer of Tendayi Darikwa. The midfielder has been on the radar of many Premier League clubs since his youth.
The 20-year-old upgraded from the youth set-up as he signed a three year contract in November. Liverpool FC is looking to offer Chesterfield £2 million for the transfer of the talented midfielder. Darikwa received the League Two Young Player of the Month award for December, which hints at the brilliance of the player.
Talking about Darikwa, Turner said, “Tendayi is a fantastic talent and we would never stand in the way of a player from moving to a Premier League club. A lot of top clubs have been tracking him for quite a while and it is no surprise – Tendayi is a player with exceptional potential who deserves to play at the very top.”
Brendan Rodgers has received the nod for the pursuit of Swansea captain, Ashley Williams. The defender will lead Swansea into the Capital One Cup final and will become the first one to do so. Liverpool FC has emerged as the top contenders for signing the player, who is also being monitored by Arsenal FC, Tottenham Hotspurs and Newcastle United.
Modibo Diakite has turned down the signing of a new contract at Lazio, thus hinting a possible transfer move to either Liverpool FC or Inter Milan. The 6’4 defender has been linked to the Reds and could turn out to be a value addition to the Anfield side. Diakite is also reported to versatile, which will allow him the opportunity to play in a defensive midfield role.
