Liverpool transfer news: Raheem Sterling, Michael Ngoo, Suso
Liverpool FC transfer news reports have increased their frequency after Brendan Rodgers stated that three or four quality players were on the radar of the Kop for the summer transfer window. The Reds have been on a roller-coaster ride this season, but the side is assuming stability now and with Rodgers looking to bring back the glory days, fans can hope for some titles.
Raheem Sterling is reportedly being shipped off for a temporary spell in the Championship as Rodgers believes that the young winger needs more experience. The 18-year-old has been a regular in the first grade team of the Reds, but has been benched for the recent games. Rodgers has reportedly given the services of the Englishman to the likes of Bolton Brighton and Cardiff City.
Talking about Sterling’s temporary unavailability, Rodgers said, “Raheem has shown he can play well at this level, but I gave him a week to get away from football mentally and physically. If the young players are good enough they will be involved in the squad, but I have to look at the individual plan to see if they can be here. Obviously, there might be people who aren’t playing who might want to think about going elsewhere, but at the moment it’s a strong squad.”
There have been rumours about Rodgers offering Sterling to Blackpool for making the Tom Ince deal a reality. Michael Ngoo has expressed his desire to return to Liverpool FC after his contract expires at SPL side, Hearts. The 20-year-old has stated that he has been conversing with the Anfield staff via texts about his performances in Scotland.
Liverpool FC has also been linked to Swansea defender, Ashley Williams, who led his team to Capital One glory. Arsenal FC is also in the pursuit to acquire the Wales player. Brendan Rodgers has stated that Suso will feature in the future plans of the Anfield side.
