Liverpool transfer news and rumours: Fernando Llorente, Tom Ince, Victor Valdes
Liverpool FC transfer news suggest that the Reds have approached Athletic Bilbao forward, Fernando Llorente for a possible transfer move during the January transfer window. The Anfield side joins Arsenal FC in the race for signing the player, who is reported to be one of the most stable players in La Liga.
There have been rumours about the possibility of a loan deal for the former golden boy of Liverpool FC, Fernando Torres. The out-of-form striker was reported to confess to his team-mates that he would be talking to Roman Abramovich about a feasible loan transfer to the Gunners. If these reports turn out to be false, then Llorente should fit Rodgers’ plan of increasing the strike force at Anfield.
The return of Tom Ince to Anfield has come under dark clouds as Swansea are looking to swoop in and carry the winger on a deal close to £7 million after Blackpool denied the £5 million bid from Liverpool FC. Ince has found the net 13 times for Blackpool this season and is considered as a highly talented player.
Barcelona FC stopper, Victor Valdes has stated that he is still uncertain about his future after reports linking his move to the Reds surfaced. Valdes has been at Camp Nou for over 20 years and his contract is set to expire in another year. The Barca goalkeeper relayed his thoughts on Twitter.
Southampton might have ruined the Reds’ alleged plan of signing Molde defender, Vegard Forren, as the player is set to move to the Saints. The Norwegian player has abandoned his trial at Melwood to make things clear for Liverpool FC as to where he is headed.
