Manchester United vs Norwich match preview & betting odds/predictions

Manchester-United-FC1

Manchester United FC are favourites to win this game

Manchester United will be confident they can secure the three points against Norwich this Saturday. They come in to this game on the back of four victories and their home form is excellent having won 12 out of 13, scoring 34 goals and conceding 15. Their opponents Norwich were perhaps fortunate to win last week against Everton when the injury time winner to make it 2-1 was scored after the the advertised amount of injury time.

Norwich are unbeaten in four games, however will be lucky to come away from Old Trafford with any points as they have won just one game away all season in thirteen games. Manchester United are likely to rest a few players in preparation for their Champion’s League, last 16 , 2nd leg clash against Real Madrid on Tuesday evening. The players deputising however, should be able to secure all three points for the Red Devils. However, the odds for a home win are short at around the odds of around 3/10 and therefore you may want to consider a different market to extract more value.

I would recommend Manchester United to be winning at HT and then go on to win the match. In the first half at Old Trafford; Manchester United have been winning 9 out of their 13 games and have scored 16 goals. Norwich have been losing 7 out of their 13 away games at half time and have managed just 6 goals.

The stats suggest Manchester United will score at least one goal in the first half and based on the fact Norwich have scored under and average of 0.5 goals in the first half away from home; HT/FT looks a decent bet at 10/11 with bet365.
