Manchester United FC might be looking to make a move for Cristiano Ronaldo

Cristiano Ronaldo making a return to Manchester United could be on the cards as the Old Trafford side is planning to make a move on the Real Madrid striker. Transfer news reports suggests that the Red Devils are reportedly planning to offer £55 million in cash and also include the transfer of either Javier Hernandez or Nani into the bargain.

There have been many speculations about the uncertainty of Ronaldo’s future at the Bernabeu and Man U might be looking to swoop in on the Old Trafford favourite. Sir Alex Ferguson is reported to be monitoring the 28 year old’s contractual discussions with Real Madrid closely. Sir Alex would be looking to benefit from the not-so-good relationship between the striker and his administration.

Recent comments from the Portuguese striker have also fueled the rumours. Ronaldo said, “I want to see out my contract at Real Madrid, I’m very clear about that. After that, well, I don’t know what’ll happen in the future.” With Jose Mourinho also speculated to leave La Liga in the summer, Ronaldo might also leave the Spanish side.

Cristiano Ronaldo has performed exceptionalng an asly well for Real Madrid scoring an astonishing 183 goals in 182 appearances. With the addition of either Hernandez or Nani to the deal, Man U, would be hoping that the Spanish side accepts the offer. Hernandez has been a prolific scorer for the Red Devils, but has not found many opportunities at Old Trafford.

Manchester United are set to meet Real Madrid in the second leg of their Championship League match after the first leg ended in a 1-1 draw. For all the Manchester United fans, there is one question, do you want Cristiano Ronaldo to return to Man U?
