Manchester United transfer news: Wayne Rooney out, Cristiano Ronaldo in?

Wayne Rooney to PSG?

Will Sir Alex sell Wayne Rooney?

Manchester United FC transfer news has now relayed a surprise for the Red Devils’ fans as Wayne Rooney is speculated to be targeted by Paris Saint Germain during the summer transfer window. PSG is reportedly looking to offer a £120 million bid for the striker, which will make him the most expensive English player of all time, if the rumours turn out to be true.

Since the arrival of Robin Van Persie, Wayne Rooney has been lurking in the shadows of the Dutch footballer. PSG are set to test Sir Alex Ferguson’s resolve in holding on to Rooney as they have added the English striker to their list. With a £120 million bid, Ferguson will be tempted to sell the player during the summer transfer window.

The French club are also in the race for signing Manchester United FC target, Cristiano Ronaldo, who features on PSG’s summer shopping list. The former Man U striker has been on the radar of the Old Trafford side and with Sir Alex watching his performance against Barcelona, rumours are bound to increase. Ronaldo scored twice against Barca in the Copa del Rey semi-final.

Ferguson had convinced Wayne Rooney to stay with the Red Devils, when the striker put in a transfer request in October 2010. The stay has been good for the striker with Rooney scoring 27 league goals last season. The form of Van Persie will place things in perspective for Sir Alex, who is unlikely to sell him according to football experts.

Manchester United seems to have their cup full for the summer transfer window with Wayne Rooney and Cristiano Ronaldo. The summer is gearing for some major transfers, Do you think Sir Alex should sell Wayne Rooney?

such offers are tempting. but I think Man U’s problem is not money but honours which will need players like Rooney around. CR7′s second coming 2 man U is highly dautitful.

Owners will probably sell Rooney, won’t buy Ronaldo and pocket the cash.

Sir Alex should sell Rooney Grab back CR7. Sir Alex would have a World Class player and one with in whom there is mutual respect. Rooney can feed his ego and CRon with Sir Alex can insure a mutually benefiting global sensation. The perfect legacy project for an amazing partnership. this would make them both legends and CR7 would finally outshine what's his face.

I would love to see Ronaldo back at OT, however, at the expense of losing Rooney… Never!
Rooney has been the main backbone of the United Team for the past 6 years… Despite RVP coming into the team, Rooney is still the main man, the best all round player and one person that keeps United at the top year in year out. RVP is a brilliant striker, much the same as Van Nistlerooy. Ronaldo is the dream player with ridiculous skills but, Rooney is Manchester United backbone. He is the one player that if they lost now would be a massive blow to the club.
