Manchester United transfer news and rumours: Jurgen Damm, Garay, Wanyama
Manchester United FC transfer news brings in the entry of Estudiantes Tecos winger, Jurgen Damm to the Red Devils as the player was offered a trial at Old Trafford. The 20-year-old is reported to be given a week-long trial at Man U, which has raised speculations about the future of the star, deeming him to be the next big thing for the Red Devils.
Damm is reported to be adept on both sides of the field and is being highly spoken about in football circles. The winger has been recently linked to the Spanish side, Real Oviedo for a possible transfer move, but the move was held back to oblige the trial at the Old Trafford side. Damm could turn out to be a good addition to the youth garrison of Man U.
Talking about the winger, a Mexican journalist said, “Jurgen is a fast and tricky winger but he has only started two games in Mexico’s Second Division and that is what worries me. He’s been talked about for a while and the amount of interest suggests scouts see something. There has been a lot of Liga MX sides after him over the winter period.”
Manchester United FC are reported to be close to signing Benfica defender, Ezequiel Garay, but the price details have hindered the process. Man U is offering a price close to £12.6 million while the Portuguese club is looking for £24 million deal. Garay has been a prominent performer for Benfica.
The Red Devils are ready to offer a £10 million summer bid for Celtic midfielder, Victor Wanyama. Sir Alex is reported to have checked out the Kenyan player himself against Celtic’s 4-0 win against Dundee United, where the midfielder scored once.
