Manchester United transfer news: David de Gea, Lucas Moura, Robbie Brady
Sir Alex Ferguson might be looking to offload David de Gea according to the recent Manchester United FC transfer news reports. The Spanish stopper has had a tough season and his performance under pressure has raised many eyebrows. Reports suggest that Ferguson might be looking to sign a new goalkeeper during this transfer window.
The Red Devils are looking in ominous form as they sit at the top of the table and are growing in force. De Gea’s physical stature has come under severe critique as he is reportedly targeted by opposition when it comes to high flying balls. Asmir Begovic of Stoke City is on the radar of Manchester United FC in addition to Liverpool’s Pepe Reina.
Lucas Moura can be termed as Paris Saint-Germain’s gain and the loss of Manchester United FC as the Brazilian youngster revealed that he turned down Old Trafford’s offer to be with the French club. Talking about the transfer to PSG and his future at the club, Moura said, “Manchester United wanted me but I talked a lot with Leonardo and he convinced me. It`s an honor for me to play with Zlatan Ibrahimovic.”
Hull City is reportedly close to signing loan star Robbie Brady as Manchester United FC is speculated to accept a £2 million offer for the transfer of the winger. Brady has expressed his desire to join Hull City earlier and his wish might be granted after all. Commenting on the transfer City boss, Steve Bruce said, “We’re creeping along with Manchester United with regards to Robbie Brady.”
With Manchester United FC already signing two loan deals during the January transfer window, the Red Devils might be looking for some more action away from the field.
