Manchester United transfer news: Mario Gotze, Arturo Vidal, de Gea, Lindegaard
Manchester United FC transfer news brings in good news for Sir Alex as Red Devils target, Mario Gotze, expressed his attraction towards top clubs, which includes the Old Trafford side. The attacking midfielder has recently signed a contract with his current club Borussia Dortmund, which will keep him at the German club till 2016.
The new deal means that Gotze might not be looking at a summer transfer, but the Red Devils have formed a good relationship with their German counterparts after the transfer of Shinji Kagawa last summer and might have discussed the availability of Gotze along with Lewandowski and Mats Hummels. If Man U decides to sign the midfielder, he would not come cheap.
Arturo Vidal has dismissed any chance of joining the Red Devils in the near future after stating that he is happy at Juventus. The Chilean international has been linked to top clubs like Manchester United FC and Bayern Munich after a season of impressive performances for the Italian side. The Red Devils have been long term admirers of the 25-year-old.
Anders Lindegaard, the back-up stopper to David de Gea, might be on his way out of Manchester United FC as the Red Devils are planning to sell the stopper to West Ham. With Lindegaard dropping a hint of not being satisfied to stay at Old Trafford substitutes bench, transfer news reports infer that the goalie might be ready to go.
David de Gea has responded to the reports linking him with a move to Barcelona FC stating that he would like to stay at Old Trafford rather than move to Camp Nou. Gea said, “I know things have been said and written but I have a contract. I’m very well in Manchester.”
