Manchester United transfer news: Wilfried Zaha, Wesley Sneijder
Wilfried Zaha has been at the top of transfer news reports and Manchester United FC is reported to be leading the race to sign the Crystal Palace starlet. The young striker has been a hot commodity in football circles as he features in the prospect list of many premier league clubs.
The Red Devils are reported to reach the top of the pack dislodging front-runners Arsenal FC through a strategic maneuver. The Old Trafford side might have agreed for the striker to stay at Palace till the summer before he makes the move to Man U.
Palace chairman Steve Parish expressed his intentions of retaining the player till the summer at Selhurst Park leading to the increase of the price tag of the player. Parish also stated the club would be forced to think about a transfer move if an enticing enough offer was made during the transfer window.
Talking about promoting the club through Zaha, Parish said, “I think he will be a Palace player until the summer. He has said himself that he really wants to get promoted with the club. I think he will be a Palace player until the summer and then we will look at it. Obviously, we will look at anything that anybody offers us because we would be mad not to.”
Manchester United FC is reported to have a lukewarm interest in Wesley Sneijder, though nothing can be confirmed about any move by the Red Devils. The Dutchman’s representatives have reached out to clubs explaining the amount for the transfer of the playmaker in an attempt to initiate a move.
