NBA trade rumours: Brandon Jennings, Luke Ridnour, Iman Shumpert
NBA trade rumours bring forth the speculations surrounding the trade of Milwaukee Bucks point guard, Brandon Jennings. The point guard has been the subject of trade rumours the whole season with various news avenues stating irreconcilable differences between him and the Bucks. Dallas Mavericks have been linked to the 23-year-old, who is reportedly frustrated with his situation at the team.
Recent reports suggest a surprise move from the New York Knicks as they are apparently targeting Minnesota Timberwolves guard, Luke Ridnour as the trade deadline approaches. Knicks, as we all know, has no dearth of point guards with their starting line-up comprising of names like Raymond Felton, Jason Kidd and Iman Shumpert.
The only situation which might be a possible scenario for Knicks to acquire Ridnour would be the exit of Shumpert, whose name has been linked to the Phoenix Suns, but Knicks coach, Mike Woodson has stated that Shumpert would not be traded. LA Lakers coach Mike D’Antoni has expressed his skepticism about making a trade on the deadline.
He said, “It would add somebody who doesn’t know what they’re doing and it could take awhile. You’re playing games you have to win and we might not even play them. That’s a hard thing.” The Brooklyn Nets are reported to focus on acquiring Utah’s Paul Millsap before the trade deadline concludes.
